A gravestone-like pedestal with the inscription “Zu früh für uns, doch Gottes Wille” (“Too early for us, but God’s will”) stands in the space like a monument.
The bright neon light installed above dazzles the eyes while reading.
The smooth surfaces of the aluminum plate and the gravestone reflect light and darkness in different dimensions, making visible how transcendence and emptiness cross on the same surface.
Zu früh für uns, doch Gottes Wille"(우리에게는 너무 이르지만, 신의 뜻이다)라는 문구가 새겨진 묘비 같은 좌대가 공간 안에 기념비처럼 서 있다.
그 위에 설치된 밝은 네온 조명은 글을 읽는 이의 눈을 부시게 한다.
알루미늄 판과 묘비의 매끄러운 표면은 빛과 어둠을 서로 다른 차원으로 반사하며, 초월과 공(空)이 하나의 표면 위에서 교차하는 모습을 드러낸다.
